Information You Submit

A name, location, or other term entered in an outside search tool goes to the provider that operates it. Washington County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.

If you send an email or message, it is retained as needed to answer. It is not shared outside the organization unless service delivery or law requires disclosure.


Automatic Technical Data

Routine server, analytics, and security systems may collect technical facts when a page loads.

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser name and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring page, when supplied
  • Date and time stamps

Cookies may help measure site use. Browser controls can block them, although some features may then work differently.

Collected data supports ordinary site operations.

  • Run the site and maintain performance
  • Send a search request to the selected partner
  • Understand which pages visitors use
  • Find errors and security problems

Outside Sites and Advertising

Links lead to Washington County release-record offices, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and third-party tools. After a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls.

Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and tailor ads. Their collection does not occur on systems controlled by this site.

Personal data is not sold. It may be handled by:

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used. No internet service is entirely secure, so this notice cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.


Visitors Under Eighteen

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may use the Get in Touch page to request deletion if a minor submitted information.
